Yoga at Club One Fitness in Maryland

Club One Fitness has a wide variety of classes available to all members. In addition to boxing classes, members also enjoy step, hi-lo, pilates, toning and many other classes. Sports Conditioning is the newest class to the schedule! In this class you can train like an athlete, even if you aren't one! This class incorporates different athletic drills, using equipment like the agility ladder and hand weights to tone your entire body! This class proves you don't have to play sports to have fun while you are working out!

Beginning September 10th, two new programs will be added to the aerobics program at Club One Fitness. Kickboxing 4 Health, led by Steve Kerstetter, is a phenomenal class that both men and women will love! Kickboxing will be offered mornings and evenings and is a great addition to workout routine!

The second program coming September 10th is yoga. Yoga is a great way to improve your strength, balance and flexibility in a serene environment. However, many find the most profound benefit of yoga is stress reduction. The benefits of yoga do not occur overnight but the results are lasting.If you have never tried it, yoga is amazing! Yoga is a therapeutic modality that can help mobilize and stabilize the spine and supporting musculature. It is also a great regime for body and mind healthy, overall strength and fitness, and it is great at alleviating stress. The yoga instructor is fantastic. She gives personalized attention and customize classes so that our Club One Fitness members increase energy, flexibility, strength, coordination and concentration.

Yoga is really not the "latest craze" in fitness; yoga actually began more than 3,000 years ago in India so it is not exactly the new kid on the block.
